The Festool Protection Pad 30089 is recommended to help prolong the life of the backup pad when sanding with 6-inch/150mm net abrasive discs.
The protection pad can help reduce pad degradation especially when sanding heavier grades of net abrasives.
Installed between the tool and the abrasive, the protection pad helps reduce wear and tear on the backup pad.
The addition of a protection pad can help reduce the frequency of backup pad replacements and maintain consistent attachment of your abrasives.
The thin protection pad has no impact on abrasive performance or dust extraction.
It has excellent hole alignment with Festool Multi-Jetstream 2 backup-pad and is compatible with other backup pads.
Can be used with any brand's 6-inch or 150mm hook-and-loop discs.
