AUTO PARTS AND STUFF CORES POLICY

 
Auto parts noted as "Remanufactured" or "Reman" have a core or reusable portion. When you purchase a remanufactured part from Auto Parts and Stuff, you pay a core cost in addition to the product price. The core charge is a deposit that will be returned to you when you return the core of the part you are replacing. If a part has a core cost, it is clearly indicated for the item. If you do not return the part, your core charge will not be refunded.
 
To request a core charge return request, please send us an email with your order number listed in the subject line. This process must be completed after you have received your remanufactured products, but before you send the core back.  You must receive authorization prior to returning the core.  A remanufactured part is covered under our return policy.

Cores may be returned within thirty (30) days of the date of your order. Core returns will not be accepted after 30 days. You will not receive any credit for core returns after 30 days. Cores must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be complete
  • Must be rebuildable
  • Must be useable
  • Must fit the same vehicle application
  • Can't be smashed
  • Can't be rusted solid
  • Must be returned in the box the remanufactured part came in

*If your core does not meet the above criteria, you will not receive credit for your return.

Shipping charges on cores are not refundable. As with any return, before returning a core you must obtain and follow return instructions by submitting a Return Authorization Email.

You must send the return to the correct location as noted in the Return Authorization information. You must also include the return authorization instructions in the package to receive credit.

Once we have received your return, conducted an inspection of the return and verified that your return meets our return guidelines, a refund will be issued to your credit card.  All applicable sales taxes will be refunded. Shipping charges will not be refunded unless the return is due to our mistake or the item is defective and no replacement unit is available. Please allow 20 days from the time your return is received at our warehouse for your credit to be issued. Once credit is issued, it may take another 5 to 10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. You will receive email confirmation when your return has been received, approved and credit has been issued.
