All Motorcraft Fuel Delivery Module designs undergo rigorous lab and real world tests in order to meet Ford engineering standards. Motorcraft FDMs must pass over 70 laboratory and vehicle tests; including thousands of hours operating across all electrical and fuel level ranges. Vibration tests help ensure quiet and smooth pump operation at all speeds, loads, and fuel levels. EMC/RFI/ESD tests help ensure there is no electrical interference with other vehicle systems. NVH testing helps ensure quiet and smooth pump operation at all speeds, loads and fuel levels. Durability and performance fuel tests using inferior quality fuel blends and additives help ensure optimum performance in adverse conditions.
