Motorcraft FDMs must pass over 70 laboratory and vehicle tests; including thousands of hours operating across all electrical and fuel level ranges. Vibration tests help ensure quiet and smooth pump operation at all speeds, loads, and fuel levels. EMC/RFI/ESD tests help ensure there is no electrical interference with other vehicle systems.
