Motorcraft Hydraulic Tubes and Lines are engineered to provide original equipment performance and reliability. Application specific designs make for easy installation. All Motorcraft Tube designs undergo rigorous lab and real world tests in order to meet Ford engineering standards. High quality materials are designed to help withstand vibration, extreme temperatures and harsh chemicals as well as cracks, damage and leakage. Tubes must pass tests for resistance to static and dynamic pressure, burst pressure and temperature extremes. Burst testing subjects the lines to over 1,750 PSI to help ensure hose and fittings integrity when subjected to high temperatures. A/C lines are leak tested to measure refrigerant loss over one year. Vibration tested to detect unwanted resonance noises. Tubes must pass 1,000 hour leak tests to help ensure corrosion resistance. Flexible tube sections are reinforced with braided polyester for added strength. Foam insulators help protect against chafing and possible under hood rattles. A/C Tubes include fittings, O rings, seals and insulators are included, as applicable. Hard lines are pre bent to fit and mounting brackets are included where applicable.
