Auto Parts and Stuff Return Policy
We are committed to providing the best customer service possible. We will gladly
refund or replace any unused, unacceptable item (excluding drop ship, backorder, custom or special
orders, repair manuals, and discontinued or other items identified on our
website as "No Return") within 30 days of purchase.
NOTE: There is
a 10% restocking fee on all returned NEW condition items.
You have
thirty (30) days from the purchase date to return the
item for a full credit of the item eligible for return. Items must be
received in our warehouse within 30 days of the purchase date. Returns
will not
be accepted after 30 days. You will not receive any credit for returns after 30
days.
All returns must be pre-authorized by emailing our customer service
team at customerservice@autopartsandstuff.com.
Items returned to sender without authorization may not be credited due to the amount of product going in and out of the warehouse.
You may return products that:
- Are in new condition, meaning the part is clean, unused, and has not been installed or altered in any way
- Are in their original packaging
- Original packaging must not be damaged in any way (i.e. not ripped, torn, marked up with pen or marker, or covered in tape, stickers, etc.)
- Have original manufacturer information
- Are not used, installed or disassembled
- Are not damaged due to incorrect installation
- Do not have missing parts, hardware or instructions
- Have not been painted or modified
- Are not a drop ship, backorder, or special order. You will be notified after purchase if an item is a drop ship, backorder, or special order with the option to cancel your order if you do not want a drop ship, backorder, or special order.
Please ensure the part is the one you need before opening it. Please do not
write on or alter the box in any way. Please inspect the part before attempting
to install it. If a part doesn't fit, don't force it to fit and risk damaging
the part or yourself. Auto Parts and Stuff will not accept responsibility for
any costs exceeding the cost of the part. We will not reimburse for labor
expenses, rental car expense, towing expenses, or any other expense beyond that
of the original part purchase. Auto Parts and Stuff shall not be held liable for
any injury or damages resulting from the use or misuse of the products on our
site.
*IF THE ITEM IS OPENED, USED, NOT IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE, OR NOT IN NEW
CONDITION, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THE RETURN.
Items not originally purchased from Auto Parts and Stuff will not be accepted as
returns.
The following orders are not eligible for return:
- Drop shipped, backordered, custom, or special orders
- Repair manuals
- Discontinued items
- Products in plastic shrink wrap if opened
- Products returned without their original undamaged packaging
- Products not meeting the criteria outlined above
- Opened glove boxes, respirator boxes, or other PPE items may not be returned under any circumstances
*Special note: Gaskets and seals cannot be returned if opened and/or taken out of the package.
If you're not satisfied with your purchase or you change your mind about the product, you may obtain return instructions by
sending an email with your order number in the subject line and the products you
wish to return listed in the text of the email.
If you receive a defective part, we will do everything we can to fix the
problem. You must notify us via
email of the defective part within 30 days of purchase. In addition, we must receive the defective part back within 20 days of the notification. Defective parts often need to be returned to the manufacturer and classified as “defective”
before a credit can be given.
If a part breaks during or after installation, please refer to the warranty
section below, as this will be a manufacturer warranty situation. Shipping
charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our mistake or the item
is defective.
If you refuse delivery or the carrier returns a package because you provided an
invalid address, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages shipped back to us, so we
strongly recommend using a carrier with delivery confirmation and package
insurance. Please note that we are unable to file a claim on your behalf with
the carrier for any losses incurred when you ship the product back to us.
You must send the return to the correct location as noted in the Return Authorization information you receive back from our Customer Service team. You must also include the return authorization instructions in the package you send back to receive credit.
Returns will not be accepted without a return authorization email and number.
Once we have received your return, conducted an inspection of the return and
verified that your return meets our return guidelines, a refund will be issued
to your credit card (less shipping costs and the 10% restocking fee on regular, NEW condition
30 day returns). All applicable sales taxes will be refunded. Shipping
charges will not be refunded unless the return is due to our mistake or the item
is defective and no replacement unit is available. A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your return for NEW condition items unless the
return is due to our mistake or the item is defective. Please allow 20 days from the
time your return is received at our warehouse for your credit to be issued. Once
credit is issued, it may take another 5 to 10 business days for your bank or
credit card company to process the refund. You will receive email confirmation
when your return has been received, approved and credit has been issued. If you
have not received the email confirmation of credit within 30 days of sending
your return to us, please contact us at

*Special note - Some items are marked Clearance - Final Sale. Those items are
not eligible for return.
Auto Parts and Stuff Warranty Policy:
Our parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, unless otherwise noted. Warranty terms vary by part, but information can be found on most manufacturer's websites or on the product packaging. Manufacturers typically require proof of purchase for warranty claims, so please hold on to your Auto Parts and Stuff invoice/receipt.
Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable. Warranties apply only to the vehicle on which the part was originally installed. In general, no cash refunds or reimbursement of labor, shipping or other costs are covered by a warranty.
Items under manufacturer’s warranty will be inspected by the manufacturer before any refunds are processed.
Please note that manufacturers may change their warranty terms at any time without any notice.
Auto Parts and Stuff does not have its own product warranty. You must file all warranty claims directly with the appropriate Manufacturer.
