Shipping policy
Here is how and when your parts get to you, what shipping costs, and what to do if an order turns up damaged or short.
- 1 Business Day: Most in-stock orders leave our warehouse in that time
- FedEx, UPS, USPS: Freight on oversized and heavy bulk shipments
- All 50 States: Alaska and Hawaii are rated separately at checkout
- Live Rates: Add items to your cart to see the cost before you buy
1. Shipping Times
Items normally leave our warehouse within 1 business day. Orders placed over a weekend or on a holiday are processed on the next business day.
Some items are Special Order only and can take up to 4 weeks to ship. Those items say so in the product description.
If you choose an expedited service such as 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air, the delivery clock starts when the order ships. Our warehouse still needs 1 to 2 business days to pick, pack and prepare a shipment, so allow up to 2 days for Next Day Air and 3 days for 2nd Day Air. An order placed before 12:00 PM CT may go out the same day.2. Carriers
We ship with FedEx, UPS and the US Postal Service unless a product description says otherwise, when items are bought in bulk, or when those carriers cannot be used for another reason. US Postal Service shipping is not available on every order, and freight carriers may be used for oversized or heavy bulk orders.
3. What Shipping Costs
To see your shipping cost before you buy, add the items to your cart and use the estimator there. Some products are oversized and carry an additional shipping cost, which is noted in the product description.
4. Delays Outside Our Control
We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by a carrier or by the weather.
5. Back Orders and Out of Stock
If a product is on backorder, our customer service team will email you about the delay. If a product is out of stock, we will email you to say the order cannot be filled.
6. Address Errors and Fraud Alerts
If there is a problem with your shipping address, our customer service team will try to reach you by email or phone to sort it out. If an order is flagged for fraud and we cannot reach you, the order is cancelled.
Please check your address at checkout. If an order is rejected because the address was entered incorrectly, return shipping is deducted from your refund, along with a 15% restocking fee. Original shipping charges are not refunded.7. Damaged Products
If a product is damaged in transit, refuse the delivery, note the damage with the carrier, and tell us right away at customerservice@autopartsandstuff.com. If you cannot refuse the shipment, email us right away instead and send photos so we can assess the damage. Auto Parts and Stuff is not responsible for damage caused by the carrier in transit.
8. Shortages
Report any shipping shortage within 5 days of receiving your product at customerservice@autopartsandstuff.com.
9. Where We Ship
- All 50 United States. Alaska and Hawaii have their own rates, which appear at checkout
- Addresses outside the United States
- Some products carry their own shipping restrictions, which are noted in the product description
We can ship to a PO Box on select orders only. We will email you if we cannot ship a product to you because of a shipping restriction.
