Edge Eyewear ZDF116VS-SL Defiance Anti-Fog Polarized Wayfarer Safety Glasses - Smoke Lens, Black Frame

A bold design, smart details, and advanced lens technologies add up to make the Edge defiance wayfarer style Z87+ safety glasses a serious contender for your new favorite pair of sunglasses. Optional polarized lenses, available fog-proof technology, and an anti-scratch coating provide unflinching optics to keep vision clear in virtually any environment. And with flexible, yet durable frames, you won't have to worry about breaking them all while enjoying the lightweight comfort that comes standard with the defiance. The defiance's nosepiece features nonslip thermoplastic rubber (TPR) details and lenses that block 99.9% of UVA, UVB, and UVC rays. From the river to the job site, the defiance delivers impact protection, comfort, and glare-reducing features. When light strikes a horizontal, reflective surface, such as water, snow, or a vehicle's hood, it bounces off horizontally. Polarized lenses arrange the light entering the glasses in a vertical manner while absorbing excess glare-causing horizontal rays. All of our lenses are made of shatter-resistant polycarbonate. This material is lightweight, blocks 99.9% of UV radiation, and defends against projectiles or blunt forces with its natural strength. Our lenses are always designed with the strict safety standards of ANSI or the stringent MCEPS military requirements, in mind to bring you total peace of mind. Aqua precision lenses maximize visual clarity and contrast in bright light conditions. Instead of using a traditional "layering mirror on smoke" lens process, anti-reflective ions are infused into a clear lens resulting in a mirrored look and maintaining pristine clarity. We developed a permanent anti-fog technology in 1993 and named it vapor shield. Unlike other temporary fog-proof coatings on the market, it's infused into the lenses during the manufacturing process. The result is a permanent solution for stopping the buildup of fog causing water vapor on the surface of the lenses. Our thin temples integrate comfortably with helmets, hats, or hearing protection.

• By reducing unnecessary bulk in the cross section of the temple, we ve created a more comfortable pair of eyewear
• Eye protection shouldn't be a burden
• Megol is a composite that becomes tacky when exposed to moisture, We strategically place Megol details in our frames so they don't slip around when you're hard at work
