Description
SharkBite PEX-B is a cross-linked polyethylene tubing designed for use in residential and commercial plumbing applications. PEX pipe is flexible and easy to work with, which reduces the number of fittings needed to complete a job; reducing cost and leak points. PEX is also extremely durable and corrosion/freeze resistant. SharkBite PEX is compatible with brass or plastic barb fittings using copper crimp ring or stainless steel clamp connection methods or push-to-connect fittings.
- PEX-b offers the highest-rated chlorine resistance and six-month UV resistance
- Pipe expands and contracts as water freezes and thaws within pipe
- Approved for water service lines and burial applications including being buried under concrete
- Certified to meet ASTM F2023 oxidative-resistance requirements for continuous hot water recirculation
